The PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE PROGRAM teaches you the core skills required to set up, run and grow your own business. As such, the PPP™ Seminars cover the four pillars of business: strategy, finance, marketing, human and other resources, as well as entrepreneurship. The seminars combine business theories and concepts with practical activities. By the end of the first year, you will have the basics of how to set up and run your own business. In each of the subsequent years, you will learn different ways of growing your own business.
There are five levels of training, with ten seminars held at each level. The first year is offered annually. The second and third years are offered every alternate year. The fourth and fifth years are offered part time. You are therefore encouraged to attend every seminar in the year they are offered. However, if you miss a seminar, you can make it up in future years. You are also welcome to revisit seminars at previous year levels.
A Certificate of Professional Practice will be awarded to those who have completed PPP™ seminars 1-10. A Certificate of Advanced Professional Practice will be awarded to those who have attended PPP™ seminars 11-20. The Certificate of Distinguished Professional Practice will be awarded to those who have attended seminars 21-30. The Certificate of Entrepreneurial Professional Practice will be awarded to those who have attended seminars 31-40. And, the Advanced Entrepreneurical Professional Practice will be awarded to those who have completed seminars 41-50. Our graduation ceremonies take place in December of each year.

- PP5: Budgets and Cash Flows, 3rd July.
- PP6: Marketing Your Practice: Your 'Product', 7th August.
- PP7: Marketing Your Practice: Promotion Strategies that Work, 4th September.
- PP8: Marketing Your Practice: Getting Your Image Right, 2nd October.
- PP9: Marketing Your Practice: Alternate Places for Your Product, 6th November.
- PP10: Marketing Your Practice: Databases for Your Practice, 4th December.
Year 3: Tuesday nights
- PP21: Staffing the Practice: Recruitment, Interviewing and Selection, 4th March.
- PP22: Staffing the Practice: Motivating Your Staff, 1st April.
- PP23: Staffing the Practice: What to Do When There Are Difficulties, 6th May.
- PP24: Staffing the Practice: What to Do When Someone Leaves, 3rd June.
- PP25: Going for Growth: Advanced Business Strategy, 1st July.
- PP26: Going for Growth: Advanced Cash Flow Management, 5th August.
- PP27: Going for Growth: Advanced Marketing Strategies, 2nd September.
- PP28: Going for Growth: Staff Planning and Career Management, 7th October.
- PP29: Going for Growth: Attacting External Sources of Capital for Growth , 4th November.
- PP30: Going for Growth: Your Wealth Creation Plan, 2nd December.
Year 5: Wednesday nights
- PP41: Risk Management - Your Strategy, Your Brand, 2nd April.
- PP42: Risk Management - Externals: Political, Economical, Legal, Environmental Factors, 4th June.
- PP43: Risk Management - Internals: Your People, Product, Operations, financials, 6th August.
- PP44: Staying 'A-live' - Reinventing Your Business, Staying Ahead of the Pack, 1st October.
- PP45: Staying 'A-live' - Podding, Blogging and other Gen X'er 'Cool Stuff', 3rd December.
PPP™ Seminars are free to members of
RACHEL ABRAMSON &
ASSOCIATES. However, for catering purposes, members are advised to formally book into the seminars that they plan to attend this year. If you find that you are unable to attend a seminar on the day, please advise us by email or text message. You will be able to make up the missed seminar in future years.
All seminars will be held from 7-9 pm. All seminars are currently held in our 1st floor training room, 142 Auburn Road, Hawthorn.
